The Cursed Dawn

Allegiance: The Army of Grom
Primary Class: Barbarian
Weapon of Choice: Swords, boomerangs

Description

The Cursed Dawn are slightly shorter than average-sized Orcs, buck lack none of the fervour their taller counterparts exhibit. In fact, the Cursed Dawn are known for their lack of restraint in combat, and have been known to fly into fits of rage, whirling and leaping through combat, swords flying like some sort of dance. The Cursed Dawn are known for their love of fire, and seize any opportunity to light things ablaze, if only to watch the object burn. All members of the Cursed Dawn wear feathers as part of their tribal heritage, but high-ranking members often wear ornate headdresses that indicate status in the clan. For instance, the eldest member of the Cursed Dawn wears a black feather headdress and is known as The Black Crow. The strongest member of the clan is named The Red Eagle, and wears a red feather headdress to display this title openly. The Cursed Dawn care not for glory nor recognition in the strictest sense, and do not fly a banner on their way into battle, preferring to remain unfettered by such things in combat. In all ways, the Cursed Dawn are energetic and enjoy the thrills that life has to offer with courageous abandon.

Plot Relevance

The Cursed Dawn joined Grom’s army following the extermination of their sister tribe, the Moon Clan. Without the balance provided by the Moon, the Sun consumes everything – at least according to the elders of the Cursed Dawn. Therefore the rage that the members of the Cursed Dawn exhibit is said to stem from this loss and subsequent imbalance of natural forces. In order to channel their rage and hate of those that killed their sister tribe, the Cursed Dawn sought out and swore their allegiance to Grom in the hopes that they would once and for all be able to take vengeance upon their hated foes, the army of Wargoth.
